Attractive dark red leaf from an early stage. Oval, serrated leaf with a mild mustard flavour.
Good cold tolerance.
Sow into small containers and if given adequate light, can also be grown indoors during the winter.
Sow sparingly in shallow drills 6 to 12mm (¼ to ½”) deep.
Space seeds 2.5cm (1″) apart.
Mustard plants can be harvested once the leaves are 5cm (2″) tall. For milder leaves, pick young, they are best cropped at around 15cm (6″) for salads.

Collection and Delivery options will be available on checkout. We try to get in stock orders boxed and shipped within 48hrs and often orders placed before 10am are shipped the same day. In busy periods however lead times could be extended. Orders containing plants will only be shipped Monday to Thursday (10am cut off) so they are not sat in boxes over the weekend. If you order after 10am on a Thursday you will not receive your order until Tuesday Seed only orders - £2.50: For orders that contain only packets of seed P&P is £2.50 to anywhere in the UK Standard Delivery - £4.95: Our standard P&P charge is £4.95 to Mainland UK Plants and Seed Potato - £9.50: These products will be subjected to a higher P&P fee of £9.50 due to the extra handling of plants and the extra weight with seed potatoes. Plants and seed potatoes delivered to the Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland will incur a surcharge of £8.00 (postcodes listed below) Free Delivery – Over £150: Order over £150 will be delivered free of P&P charges Collection – Nursery: Click and collect is available from the nursery all year around by arrangement. Collection – Potato Day: During check out you will have the option to select collection from one of our potato days.
