A lettuce based blend, with colourful lettuces little Gem, Tango, Red Batavia, Green Batavia, Cerbiatta and Red Salad Bowl. Great soft leaf lettuce mix, will cut and come again. Quick to germinate and ready within a matter of weeks.
Lettuce Green Oak Leaf
Glossy green baby leaf selection. Attractive serrated leaf. Easy to grow, cut and come again.
Lettuce Catalogna Cerbiatta
A traditional green oakleaf selection originating in Italy. Deeply indented and thick leaves in a compact format, and with good texture. Strong lettuce flavour. Pick the abundant foliage when young.
Lettuce Red Cos
Deep burgundy red, strong upright waxy thick leaf. Cut when young as a baby leaf.
Lettuce Red Salad Bowl
Red version of Salad Bowl. Adds colour to salads. Non hearting type, pick the abundant foliage when young.
Salad Rocket
Rocket leaves add an unique mild peppery taste to salads. Can be used on its own or mixed with other salad leaves. Sow April to August, cut when 7.5-10cm (3-4’’) high and allow to regrow. Flowers are edible.
Sowing instructions – Babyleaf production
Sow thinly into containers of damp multipurpose or seed compost and lightly cover seeds with sieved compost. Keep the compost damp but not wet. Seedlings will appear within 3-10 days. Keep weed free and well-watered when established. In cooler weather water less frequently. Harvest the baby leaves when large enough to cut. Use scissors to snip off a few from each plant at 2.5cm (1in) from the base. Avoid damaging the central growing point of the plant and allow the remaining leaves to grow on. Feed with a general purpose feed after cutting to support new leaf growth.

Fruit trees can be ordered on this website but are a collection only item, if you order them for delivery your order will be cancelled and refundedDelivery and Collection:
Collection and Delivery options will be available on checkout. We try to get in stock orders boxed and shipped within 48hrs and often orders placed before 10am are shipped the same day. In busy periods however lead times could be extended. Orders containing plants will only be shipped Monday to Thursday (10am cut off) so they are not sat in boxes over the weekend. If you order after 10am on a Thursday you will not receive your order until Tuesday Seed only orders - £2.50: For orders that contain only packets of seed P&P is £2.50 to anywhere in the UK Standard Delivery - £4.95: Our standard P&P charge is £4.95 to Mainland UK Plants and Seed Potato - £9.50: These products will be subjected to a higher P&P fee of £9.50 due to the extra handling of plants and the extra weight with seed potatoes. Plants and seed potatoes delivered to the Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland will incur a surcharge of £8.00 (postcodes listed below) Free Delivery – Over £150: Order over £150 will be delivered free of P&P charges Collection – Nursery: Click and collect is available from the nursery all year around by arrangement. This option can be selected at Checkout. We will then contact you to arrange a collection day and time. Collection – Potato Day: During check out you will have the option to select collection from one of our potato days. Please remember these are one day events so you must be able to collect on that specific day. There will be no charge for this service.
