Bramley’s Seedling is classed as the finest cooking apple in the world! Fruit is greenish-yellow flushed with light brownish/orange-red stripes and russet spots. A strong acid flavour and shiny skin. It cooks to a creamy, brisk-flavoured puree, or can be more slowly baked for tarts and pies. The apple can produce a delicious single-fruit juice or will make a full sharp cider. Also a good crisp eater with a sweet-sharp bite after its been stored. Susceptible to scab, resistant to mildew, canker and late frosts with a heavy crop. An overall excellent cooking variety that cannot be faulted!
